BankUnited seeks a Credit Products Officer (CPO) to underwrite Corporate & Industrial or CRE loan opportunities. You will prepare complete credit analyses, structure deals, and ensure timely, accurate documentation within the Loan Origination System.

In this role you will support Relationship Managers, monitor risk, and stay current with SBA lending guidelines and bank policies. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience preferred.
• 7-9 years of commercial credit underwriting experience required.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite new credit requests for C&I or CRE loans.
• Prepare credit analyses and spreads for Moody's Credit Lens and bank templates.
• Review financial statements, tax returns, and collateral to assess borrower financial condition.
• Support Relationship Managers in portfolio monitoring and risk mitigation.
• Provide SBA eligibility analysis and ensure compliance with SBA SOP.
• Draft credit approval memos and communicate decisions to clients.
• Identify opportunities for cross-sale and ensure timely documentation in the Loan Origination System.
