Job summary

BankUnited is seeking a Credit Products Officer to review and underwrite either Corporate and Industrial or CRE loan requests. You will prepare complete credit analyses, discuss findings with Relationship Managers, and ensure timely delivery in line with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related work experience preferred.
• 7-9 years of commercial credit underwriting experience required; 2-3 years SBA underwriting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite corporate and CRE loan requests and prepare credit analyses.
• Prepare spreads using Moody's Credit Lens and other tools.
• Review borrower and guarantor financial statements and tax returns.
• Review 3rd party reports and assess collateral adequacy.
• Complete Credit Approval Memorandum in the Loan Origination System.
• Monitor portfolio and perform ongoing credit assessments.
