Viking Electric is seeking a Credit Analyst in Addison, IL, full-time, in-office. The role focuses on day-to-day credit operations, ensuring DSO targets and timely collections while coordinating with sales and account managers.

You will handle inquiries, maintain billing data, and ensure compliance with tax requirements across states. The position requires 2–3 years in commercial credit or AR collections, a 4-year business-related degree, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in commercial credit or accounts receivable collections.
• Four-year degree in business-related field (e.g. accounting, finance) or equivalent experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Limited travel.
• Willingness to work extra hours to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day activity in Credit Department and manage accounts receivable per objectives.
• Respond to inquiries from customers and associates; resolve problems and maintain goodwill.
• Manage sales tax collection and documentation for applicable states.
• Meet monthly with account managers; train sales on collection approaches.
