Job summary

Viking Electric in Addison, IL is seeking a Credit Analyst to join our in-office team. This role offers a base hourly wage of $26.00 to $34.50, with pay increases based on experience and full benefits.

You will manage day-to-day credit department activities, maintain DSO, respond to inquiries, and collaborate with sales and account managers to collect on accounts and resolve disputes.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 to 3 years in commercial credit or accounts receivable collections.
• A four-year degree in a business-related field (e.g. accounting, finance) or equivalent experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Limited travel
• Willingness to work additional hours to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day activity in the Credit Department and maintain DSO and past-due accounts receivable as per objectives.
• Respond to inquiries from customers, associates, and outside organizations; authorize new orders and maintain billing information.
• Manage sales tax collection and documentation for accounts across states.
• Meet with account managers monthly to reviewJoint Account Review Process and train salespeople on collection approaches.
• Monitor credit limits for accounts, authorize shipments as needed, and use Bill trust for documents and payments.
