Job summary

Northrim Bank in Anchorage, AK is seeking Credit Analyst I, II or Senior to join our Commercial Credit team. Analyze financial statements, assess borrower risk, and support lending decisions to help local businesses grow.

You will work with lenders to evaluate relationships, prepare credit analyses and loan presentations, and monitor reporting and compliance. Opportunities to mentor developing analysts and lead special portfolio projects are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Senior Credit Analyst).
• Two or more years of commercial credit analysis or underwriting experience (Credit Analyst II).
• High school diploma or equivalent (Credit Analyst I); college-level accounting coursework is a plus (for I).

Responsibilities

• Analyze commercial financial statements, tax returns, and credit information.
• Spread financial statements and evaluate borrower performance.
• Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare clear, well-written credit analyses and loan presentations.
• Partner with commercial lenders to evaluate new and existing borrowing relationships.
• Monitor financial reporting requirements and loan covenant compliance.
• Investigate payment histories and review third-party credit reports.
• Prepare portfolio reports and communicate potential credit concerns.
