RockBridge Search is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to support commercial lending through rigorous financial analysis, underwriting, and portfolio monitoring. You will work with lenders and banking leadership to structure credits that balance client needs with prudent risk, ensuring sound, well-documented decisions.

The ideal candidate brings solid credit and underwriting experience, the ability to ask the right questions, and sound judgment to interpret financial statements and discuss risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field.
• Several years of commercial credit analysis, underwriting, or banking experience.
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and credit risk concepts.
• Experience analyzing business and personal financial information.

Responsibilities

• Analyze commercial loan requests and existing relationships to determine risk.
• Review financial statements, tax returns, and cash flows.
• Prepare credit analyses, loan presentations, and recommendations.
• Evaluate liquidity, leverage, debt service coverage, and collateral.
• Identify risks and opportunities beyond the numbers.
• Partner with Relationship Managers to structure prudent credit requests.
• Underwrite new business while monitoring portfolio relationships.
• Conduct annual and periodic reviews to keep documentation current.
• Research industries and borrowers to understand credit risk.
• Provide clear recommendations to lenders and senior management.
