Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Account Analyst to join our premier Retail Client on a new target account and trade credit strategy team. The Analyst will gather and analyze data from top target accounts and provide insights to drive decision-making. This role requires someone who is eager to learn, adaptable, and committed to process improvement. Base pay range: $30.00/hr - $34.00/hr. This range is provided by Calculated Hire. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Location: Atlanta, GA (remote with the potential to go onsite Mon-Thurs).
Engagement: On-going contract, potential for hire.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with key stakeholders from target accounts.
- Collaborate with the sales associates to understand client needs and preferences.
- Proactively identify areas of improvement based on client feedback and data analysis.
- Interact with top target accounts to gather relevant data and insights.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, clean, and analyze large datasets.
- Implement advanced Excel functions, including formulas, pivot tables, and lookups, to extract meaningful information.
- Identify trends and patterns to determine what target accounts value most from their partnership with our company, and formulate decisions based on the analysis of target account data.
- Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline data collection and analysis procedures.
- Identify opportunities for automation to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and enhance overall workflow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Finance, Analytics, etc.).
- 0-2 years of professional experience in a data analysis or related role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as formulas, pivot tables, and lookups.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact confidently with top target accounts and internal stakeholders.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a commitment to achieving results.
- Proven experience in process improvement initiatives is a plus.
