Job description

Credit Benchmark is a financial data analytics company that has partnered with the world’s leading financial institutions to create the largest and most sophisticated, contributed credit risk data platform in the market.

We help clients identify, quantify, and monitor credit risk across a wide array of exposures by leveraging CB’s unique and sophisticated data and analytics. The comprehensive nature of CB’s consensus ratings coverage on over 125,000 sovereigns, FIs, NBFIs, corporates and funds uniquely place CB as the leading provider of credit risk intelligence.

We are growing rapidly and are looking to hire a Client Success Analyst to join us in New York.

The role

As a Client Success Analyst, reporting to the Head of Client Operations, you will be part of a busy and diverse team at the heart of the company’s commercial activities.

You will join a collaborative, personable, and energetic Client Operations team that works closely with colleagues across Credit Benchmark to deliver a seamless client experience, from new client onboarding through to ongoing integration support, engagement, and adoption.

Alongside Account Management and Sales, you will support the operational side of onboarding. As your product and market knowledge grows, you will take on more direct client work and ownership, helping clients get the most from their subscription.

This role is based in New York and has a global remit, working closely with our New York and London teams.

Your responsibilities will include
  • Onboarding: supporting the setup process for new clients, from user access and training to client follow-ups, so every client experiences a seamless and positive start with Credit Benchmark
  • Implementation: tracking each client’s progress towards fully embedding our data in their workflows, keeping milestones on schedule
  • Adoption: monitoring usage and engagement to make sure clients get the value they signed up for, flagging low adoption early and coordinating support with Account Management
  • Client records: owning accurate onboarding, account health, and activity data in Salesforce, so the team always has a reliable view of every account
  • Client materials: preparing content for training sessions, check‑ins, and value reviews that show how clients use and benefit from Credit Benchmark’s data
  • Queries and feedback: working with Product, Analytics, and Commercial colleagues to resolve client issues and share the feedback that shapes our products
  • Growth: capturing opportunities for new users, products, or use cases and passing them to Account Management and Sales
  • As you grow: stepping into direct client work, delivering training and demos and leading client check‑ins
What we are looking for

Ideally you will:

  • Have up to two years’ experience in financial services, fintech, or data, with a working understanding of financial markets; knowledge of credit risk is a plus
  • Be highly organized, able to juggle several clients and tasks at once, prioritize well and deliver to deadlines
  • Have a sharp eye for detail and take pride in keeping data and records accurate
  • Communicate clearly and confidently, in writing and in person, with a genuine interest in helping clients succeed
  • Be a self‑starter who takes initiative, works independently, and adapts quickly in a fast‑paced environment
  • Be curious about how banks manage credit risk and why it matters to capital markets
  • Be confident with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with Salesforce and generative AI tools is an advantage
  • Enjoy working collaboratively and flexibly with international colleagues as part of a global team
  • Be eligible to work in the US
  • Flexible working: Hybrid schedule with in‑office anchor days and a healthy work/life balance
  • Paid time off: Competitive PTO package
  • Health and well‑being: Private medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid sick and bereavement leave
  • 401(k): Eligibility to join the company 401(k) plan
  • Family‑friendly: Supportive environment and paid leave for new parents
  • Learning and development: Professional development opportunities through seminars, conferences, training and courses and internal mentorship
  • Community: Supportive, collaborative, and social team environment

The base salary range for this role is $80,000 – $90,000 per annum, dependent on skill set and experience.
