Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration and Management, or a related field.
• Five (5) years of experience interacting with hospital administration and credentialing activities.
• CPCS or CPMSM certification required within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Implements all credentialing and privileging processes for physicians and allied health practitioners, including establishing qualifying criteria for initial appointment.
• Oversees credentialing database workflow system use and reporting.
• Directs and coaches credentialing staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Assists with amendments to Medical Staff governance documents to ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance.
• Manages orientation, training, system upgrades, and downstream system reporting for credentialing workflows.
