We are seeking a Program Coordinator – Credentialing,Licensing, and Compliance who will manage and coordinate allcredentialing, onboarding, and compliance processes for clinicalstaff within the integrated Primary Care and Mental Health clinicsof Student Health & Well-Being (SHWB). This includes medicalproviders (physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, medicalassistants, dietitians) and mental health clinicians(psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists). Serving as the firstpoint of contact for clinical onboarding and offboarding, theProgram Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring allcredentialing, licensure, and regulatory requirements are met andmaintained.

The worksite location for this position is designated asHomewood and East Baltimore.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to goal setting and identify program operationalrequirements to meet programmatic goals.
  • Obtain and utilize internal and external resources to meetprogram goals.
  • Serve as primary contact for the program with internaldepartments and external organizations.
  • Responsible for monitoring budget expenses, processinginvoices, performing budget reconciliation, and assisting withbudget development.
  • Compile documentation related to funding and finance.
  • Identify and resolve programmatic problems.
  • Assist with planning events and coordinate preparation, set upand logistics for events/ functions.
  • Coordinate communication activities via websites, social mediachannels, and publication materials as needed.
  • Ensure timely, accurate and appropriate reporting of programactivities.
  • Monitor and track clinical licenses and certificationdeadlines, including DEA, CDS, board certifications, memberships,and CEUs.
  • Maintain and organize credentialing and compliancedocumentation to support institutional accreditation efforts. Thisincludes leading on-going collaborative efforts across both unitsand their respective clinical liaisons.
  • Track Continuing Education for all applicable staff andcoordination with finance team for payment processing of licensure,memberships, conferences, training and any relevant staffprofessional development reimbursements.
  • Serve as the first point of entry for all staff, overseeing theend-to-end onboarding and off-boarding process, includingorientation to SHWB policies, procedures, and orientation checklistas applicable.
  • Oversee training and compliance documentation through LearningManagement Systems (LMS) and PowerDMS for all staff. Ensure thatall clinical staff are up to date on mandatory training,institutional policies, and accreditation-relateddocumentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook,Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or graduation equivalent.
  • Four years progressively responsible administrativeexperience.
  • Additional education may substitute for required experience,and additional related experience may substitute for requirededucation beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, tothe extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.

Failure to meetthis requirement may result in termination of employment.

The pre-employment physical for positions in clinical areas,laboratories, working with research subjects, or involvingcommunity contact requires documentation of immune status againstRubella (German measles), Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Varicella(chickenpox), Hepatitis B and documentation of having received theTdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccination. This may includedocumentation of having two (2) MMR vaccines; two (2) Varicellavaccines; or antibody status to these diseases from laboratorytesting. Blood tests for immunities to these diseases areordinarily included in the pre-employment physical exam except forthose employees who provide results of blood tests or immunizationdocumentation from their own health care providers. Anyvaccinations required for these diseases will be given at no costin our Occupational Health office.
