Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Credentialing Driver in Sulphur, LA. You will manage access, verify credentials, issue badges, and maintain a professional atmosphere for employees and visitors at a chemical/petrochemical location.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and involves a daytime schedule with multiple shifts. Minimum experience includes law enforcement or security leadership or hands-on security experience.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• 1 year of law enforcement experience OR 2 years of security supervision/management experience OR 3 years of security experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen per law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Control access to the site by verifying credentials and processing visitors and contractors.
• Monitor entry/exit points, vehicle access, and restricted areas to deter unauthorized access and ensure compliance with access rules.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly while following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and perimeter locations; vary by site.
