Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Authorization Driver in Sulphur, LA to protect a chemical/petrochemical location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and support a professional, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver’s license for the state of employment.
At least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years in security supervision, or 3 years in security.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors per site procedures.
Monitor and control access by verifying credentials and issuing badges.
Respond calmly to alarms, incidents, and security concerns following escalation procedures.
Conduct regular patrols of access points and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized access.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations to site contacts and leadership.
