Craft Agency Ltd. in New York seeks a Creative Vice President to lead a 40+ person team and scale toward 100, owning strategy, performance creative, and branding across this performance-first commerce agency.
This role reports to founders, drives KPI-based decision making, and oversees the full P&L for the practice, with strong partnership potential and access to an AI platform and venture exposure.
The founder’s own line is that the agency has everything except big-campaign creative. This role exists to build that, and to own it.
This is a newly created Creative Vice President seat at a founder-owned, performance-first commerce agency in New York. With a client roster that runs from category-defining technology and retail names to the challenger CPG brands rewriting their categories, there’s a creative reputation here, and your job is to turn that reputation into an institution.
You’ll lead a 40-plus-person creative organisation and scale it toward 100, spanning strategy, organic social, performance creative, design, video, creator management, UGC and OOH. Two MDs report to you, and you own the full P&L for the practice.
The work is strategic and measurable, not vanity craft: the team ships hundreds of production-ready assets per cycle and runs a creator network delivering video at a fraction of typical platform CPMs. You’ll set KPIs, hire and develop managers who build their own teams, and make the calls on standards, QA and bench strength so the work is strong on every account, not only the ones you touch. You’ll also own the agency’s outward branding, not just client output.
You’re operating at Executive Creative Director or Vice President level already, inside a creatively respected, performance-literate shop.
You’re a strategist first who wins pitch rooms, deep in short-form video, and fluent in the paid game; you’ve run high-throughput creative at scale, not just campaign work. You manage managers, run on KPIs, make hire-and-fire calls – you’re ready to lead a reorg and build teams from scratch, and you want the autonomy that comes with it.
