YOUR MISSION

In your role as the Creative Strategist, you’re going to engineer campaigns that don’t just perform but transform how people think about gifting. You’ll be the strategist who can spot a cultural insight in a Reddit thread one hour and turn it into a seven-figure campaign the next.

This is a fully-remote, contractor role.

WHAT YOU’RE GETTING INTO

  • Uncover hidden opportunities by studying competitors’ ads, reading between the lines of customer reviews, and spotting emerging cultural trends before they go mainstream

  • Turn those insights into crystal-clear creative briefs that help designers and videographers produce work that stops thumbs and opens wallets

  • Be hands-on with writing hooks and scripts for creative team members that, developing new messages and angles through your copywriting
  • Dive deep into data and identify exactly which creative elements (that specific hook at 0:03, that color palette, that CTA) are driving purchases

  • Run weekly experiments with unconventional formats and messaging angles to keep ads fresh, creating both original concepts and iterating your winning creatives for even better performance

  • Guide photo shoots and UGC collaborations to create content that feels authentic to real people while meeting the brand's strategic goals

  • Develop their creative playbook – documenting what works so they can replicate success without starting from scratch each time

  • Work hand-in-hand with the product team to ensure new launches have creative strategies as thoughtful as the products themselves

  • Become the bridge between analytics and creativity – translating numbers into actionable improvements for the creative team

  • Collaborate with the website development team to share insights and improve on-site performance based on learnings from the Creative department

WHO YOU ARE

  • Experience: 2+ years in creative strategy with DTC brands, with a portfolio of high-impact work

  • Data-oriented: Comfortable analyzing metrics to inform creative decisions without sacrificing originality

  • Copywriting skills: Proven experience writing compelling ad copy, scripts, and marketing content for eCommerce brands.

  • Strategic thinker: Able to zoom between big-picture vision and tactical execution, and create a variety of strategies for platforms such as Meta and TikTok

  • Creative leader: Experience guiding designers, videographers, and writers toward exceptional outputs

  • Organized: Thrives managing multiple projects in fast-paced environments

  • Problem-solver: Self-motivated to push projects forward without heavy oversight

  • Clear communicator: Strong written and verbal skills to articulate creative vision

  • 30 Days: Mastered the brand voice, creative process, and key products

  • 60 Days: Running strategic tests and optimizing live campaigns

  • 90 Days: Your creative approach shows measurable impact on key growth metrics
