Job summary

Sarku Japan is seeking a Specialist, Social Media & Content to define how we show up on social and own our content calendar. You will create and publish short-form video and food storytelling, while guiding brand voice across platforms.

Collaborate with Brand, Creative and Operations to translate the marketing calendar into engaging posts, analyze performance, and grow a vibrant community across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and more.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on social media, content or community management for consumer brands or agencies.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating social-first content creation, especially short-form video.
• Ability to take content from idea through execution, shooting on phone/camera and editing quickly.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day management of Sarku Japan's organic social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, X/Threads).
• Develop and execute social strategy, define platform roles, calendar and success metrics.
• Create platform-native content with a focus on short-form video and craveable food storytelling.
