Job summary

The Story Shack is a fast-growing creative studio seeking a Resource Manager to coordinate talent outreach, resourcing, and project support. You will ensure the right people are lined up for projects and that administrative tasks stay on track.

In this role you’ll gain exposure to the business side of an agency, handling resourcing, budgeting, invoicing, and talent relationships as we grow. You thrive in organized chaos and love creative production.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a creative agency, studio, or production environment with resourcing responsibilities.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented, especially when it comes to financials and scheduling.
  • A collaborative, low-ego attitude with the ability to support someone else's workflow and priorities.
  • Genuine interest in the advertising and film industries and building relationships with creative talent.
  • Familiarity with talent databases, project management tools, and invoicing/accounting software is a plus.
  • Existing relationships within the creative production community are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily tasks for a 300-person creative community, including outreach to freelance talent.
  • Run availability and rate checks across our talent network for upcoming projects.
  • Support resourcing with Project Managers, Account Managers, and Producers by matching talent to projects.
  • Handle financial administration, including invoice monitoring and payment tracking.
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date talent and project databases.
  • Serve as first point of contact for talent inquiries and applications, building strong relationships.
