Surface Experts is seeking a hands-on Technician to perform surface repair on-site with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates are skilled in manual repairs, color matching, and providing friendly, professional service to tenants and property managers. The role involves visiting sites, solving problems creatively, and working within a small team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with your hands in relevant fields (construction, manufacturing, painting, or hobbies).
• Must be able to see and replicate colors accurately; color matching is integral.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Strong manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• In the field daily: complete 4+ repairs on-site.
• Display world-class customer service for tenants and property management staff.
• Update progress on repairs by entering notes in the CRM/Dispatch tool.
• Communicate with the support team with questions.
• Understand and follow the 5-step repair process.
• Use each tool in your custom tool-kit.
• Problem-solve repairs with creativity.

Overview

We are looking for someone who is comfortable using their creativity to problem‑solve repairs, works well independently, takes pride in delivering high-quality work, and represents the company well with customers, while working on repairs that typically take less than an hour.

Requirements

• Experience working with your hands - relevant experience could be in construction, manufacturing, painting, or even a personal hobby.

Duties

• In the field daily: generally complete 4 or more creative repairs on‑site each day
• Display world‑class customer service for tenants and property management staff
• Update progress on repairs by entering information and notes on our CRM/Dispatch tool
• Communicate with the support team with questions
• Understand and utilize our unique 5‑step repair process
• Employ each tool in your custom tool‑kit
• Problem‑solve repairs with creativity
