Job summary

LA 411, a small design studio in Los Angeles, seeks an Assistant to the Creative Director for live performance productions. This full-time role supports the Creative Director with deck-building, research, budgeting, and scheduling, blending visual storytelling with organizational rigor.

You'll build polished Keynote decks, track budgets in Excel, curate visual references, manage assets in Photoshop, and coordinate meetings and Zoom calls to keep the team on schedule.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in production, design, live events, or related field.
• Proficient in Keynote; capable of polished decks.
• Comfortable with Google Sheets for scheduling and tracking.
• Experience using Photoshop for asset prep and edits.
• Strong organizational skills and proactive communication.
• Experience budgeting in Excel or similar.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine dynamic, visually polished decks in Keynote for pitches and reviews.
• Conduct heavy visual research and curate reference material.
• Maintain an organized archive and filing system for assets.
• Track and manage production budgets in Excel or similar.
• Maintain shared trackers, schedules, and production documents in Google Sheets.
• Prepare and edit visual assets in Photoshop as needed.
• Manage communications and follow up on items.
• Schedule Zoom calls and keep the team on schedule.
• Provide general organizational and administrative support to the Creative Director.
