You will assist customers, handle checkouts, stock, and set up/take down events, while maintaining store cleanliness and adhering to safety standards. Strong people skills, experience with children, and excellent communication are essential to success.

• Excellent people skills are essential.
• Experience working with children and children’s events is required.
• Good communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal communication as well as listening.

• Retail or customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events inside the Michaels store, including kids' birthday parties and craft classes.
• Engage with clients of all ages to create a fun, creative environment.
• Demonstrate and guide party activities, and handle setup and cleanup.
• Assist customers with locating products and processing checkout with a friendly, efficient approach.
