Job summary

The Michaels Companies Brunswick, GA is seeking a Part-Time Party & Event Host to plan and coordinate events inside the Michaels store, including children's birthday parties and craft classes. You will engage guests of all ages with a fun, creative atmosphere and deliver a stress-free experience.

Responsibilities include demonstrating crafts, face painting, coordinating add-ons, communicating with clients and store teammates, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety standards during events.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events including children's birthday parties and craft classes.
• Engage clients of all ages, from 4 to 94+, by creating an environment of fun and creativity.
• Demonstrate and instruct party activities, perform face painting and other activities.
• Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc. to company standards.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members.
• Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork.
• Adjust plans based on client feedback and needs.
• Create backup or emergency plans and ensure client satisfaction.
• Uphold store cleanliness and safety standards.
