Job summary

Michaels Stores in Grand Forks, ND, is seeking an energetic Events Coordinator to plan and execute in-store events, including kids’ parties, while delivering warm customer service. You will guide guests, assist with purchases, and coordinate with team members to ensure seamless experiences from greeting to checkout.

Responsibilities include coordinating multiple events, teaching crafts, managing add-ons, and handling communications.

• Arrange add-ons (goody bags, balloons) to store standards.
• Assist customers with shopping, locating products, and checkout.
• Handle emails, calls, and paperwork; communicate events to clients and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety; support SOPs and store recovery.
