Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Concord, NH is seeking an energetic team member to plan, coordinate, and facilitate in-store events — including kids' birthday parties — and deliver a fun, creative experience for guests. You will assist guests, help them find products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating multiple events, engaging with customers of all ages, assisting with stocking, and maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Energetic and enthusiastic personality.
• Must have excellent people skills.
• Must have experience working with children and children’s events.
• Must have good communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal communication as well as listening skills.
• Must have organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and creative problem‑solving skills.
• Retail and/or customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and facilitate events within the Michaels store.
• Engage with clients of all ages and instruct party participants.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist with checkout processes.
• Assist with truck unload, stocking and planogram duties.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety, follow SOPs and company policies.
