Job summary

Michaels Holland, MI is seeking an energetic events coordinator to plan and run kid-friendly parties and in-store activities. You will help customers find products, deliver fast checkout, and assist with class events, crafts, and store operations.

Ideal candidates bring retail or customer service experience, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills. Responsibilities include coordinating events, assisting with BOPIS/SFS processes, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience required.
• Experience working with children and children's events preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events within Michaels store.
• Engage with clients of all ages to create fun, creative experiences.
• Instruct participants and assist with craft projects.
• Assist with add-ons (balloons, goody bags) and ensure event success.
• Handle inquiries via email/phone and maintain paperwork.
