Job summary

Michaels Stores in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Event Coordinator to plan and coordinate in-store events, including children’s parties, to provide a fun and engaging experience for guests.

You will deliver fast, friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and support omni-channel processes while maintaining store standards and safety policies. Prior event or retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating events or children’s parties is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events in-store, including children’s birthday parties and crafts.
• Engage with customers of all ages and provide friendly customer service.
• Assist guests with product location and checkout processes.
• Enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards when appropriate.
• Manage event setup, execution, and teardown, including backup plans.
