Job summary

Michaels is seeking an energetic events-focused team member to coordinate in-store activities and assist customers in Webster, TX. You will plan children’s parties, guide craft projects, and support omnichannel processes while delivering fast checkout and a friendly shopping experience.

Ideal candidates bring retail or customer service experience, strong people skills, and comfort working with children’s events. Must maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience required.
• Experience working with children and children’s events.
• Good communication skills including written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate in-store events including children's parties and crafts.
• Demonstrate and guide participants in craft projects; face painting and activities.
• Assist customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
• Process checkout quickly and accurately; engage with Rewards program enrollments.
• Complete administrative tasks such as emails and phone calls; maintain cleanliness.
