Storm Ideas is seeking a Creative Operations Officer to transform messy creative and operational processes into clear workflows and lightweight systems. You will leverage Airtable and AI tools to map, document, and automate, delivering reliable outcomes across global brands in a remote, contractor role.

Qualifications

• Experience taking ownership of workflows, processes, systems, or operational projects and making them clearer or more reliable.
• Strong structured thinking: break a messy problem into users, inputs, outputs, statuses, handoffs, risks, and decisions.
• Practical AI use in real work, improving workflow efficiency and measuring success with KPIs.
• Reliable ownership of defined projects, including asking clarifying questions, communicating progress, and escalating early when something is blocked.
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
• Confidence with spreadsheets, structured data, project tools, and documentation tools.
• High no/low-code and systems aptitude; Airtable experience is highly useful.
• High attention to detail and a habit of checking work before it reaches others.
• Comfortable explaining systems and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Adaptability and curiosity about new tools to improve delivery.

Responsibilities

• Turn messy creative and operational processes into clear workflows, systems, documentation, and handoffs.
• Focus on reliable delivery: understand how work moves and structure it clearly.
• Build practical Airtable and lightweight workflow solutions and help people use them.
• Use AI to speed up workflow mapping, documentation, QA, data cleanup, and automation support while verifying outputs.
• Clean up creative approval workflows with clear ownership and status definitions.
• Structure work into fields, statuses, ownership, handoffs, review points, and definitions of done.
• Create Airtable bases, views, and interfaces for client teams with clear documentation.
• Improve lightweight systems in Airtable, spreadsheets, PM tools, and Slack/Teams workflows.
• Create process documentation, SOPs, interface notes, and client-ready explanations.
• QA your own work before handoff and check data, logic, copy, statuses, and UX.
• Present improvements in clear, non-technical language to internal and client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with creative, social, client service, analytics, and technical teams to ship improvements.
• Support workflows after launch by gathering feedback and improving adoption.
