Hudson's Restaurant & Catering is seeking experienced cooks to join a family-owned, chef-driven kitchen in Hudson, Ohio. We value creativity, reliability, and teamwork, offering growth across multiple menus, catering, and seasonal pop-up experiences.

Our kitchen emphasizes mise en place, station leadership, and high-volume service, with opportunities to contribute to weekly specials and seasonal menus. Competitive pay is based on experience, with full-time and part-time roles and Sundays closed.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant cooking experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with mise en place and station organization.
• Solid knife skills and cooking fundamentals.
• Comfortable with a variety of cooking methods and equipment.
• Able to work quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Remain composed during busy service.
• Care about consistency and presentation.
• Keep a clean and organized station.
• Communicate well with teammates.
• Take direction while also working independently.
• Show up prepared and reliable.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Available for Saturdays and other busy shifts.
• Culinary school welcome but not required.
• What matters most is ability, attitude, reliability, creativity, work ethic, and pride in what you do.

Responsibilities

• Set up and properly stock your station before service.
• Prepare vegetables, proteins, sauces, and other mise en place.
• Execute menu items accurately and consistently.
• Maintain strong ticket times without sacrificing food quality.
• Follow established recipes, portions, and plating standards.
• Coordinate with other stations so each table's food is completed together.
• Communicate effectively with chefs, managers, and fellow cooks.
• Maintain station pars and restock throughout service.
• Properly cool, label, date, rotate, and store food.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace.
• Assist with prep, receiving, inventory, and production as needed.
• Help teammates when another station gets hit.
• Contribute ideas for weekly specials and seasonal menus.
• Take ownership of the food leaving your station.
