Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
• Knowledge of basic principles of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations including sanitation and storage.
• Ability to obtain a food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, chopping, and peeling.
• Safely use knives and operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Cook using diverse methods and present plated dishes per guidelines.
• Store food properly following safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
• Maintain excellent guest service and positive demeanor.
