Aramark is hiring a Cook to join our team, bringing recipes to life and exploring diverse cuisines. You will work with fresh ingredients and a range of equipment to create high-quality dishes while following production guidelines and safety procedures.

The role emphasizes creativity, teamwork, and maintaining excellent guest experience in a fast-paced environment. The position requires prior cooking experience, knowledge of food safety practices, and the ability to obtain a food safety

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation principles and methods and food safety regulations.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming and peeling.
• Safely use a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam and use various cooking methods on meat, vegetables and other foods.
• Arrange, garnish and portion food according to guidelines.
• Store food properly following safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and colleagues.
