Job summary

Jacksonville Arts & Music School (JAMS) seeks a What A Leader (WAL) Program Coordinator to lead day-to-day WAL execution across sites, coordinating logistics, scheduling, and delivery while tracking student engagement and growth across core competencies.

You will maintain strong communication with students, families, and partners, support program growth through relationship building, and collaborate with facilitators to ensure consistent implementation and uphold the JAMS LIFE WAY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in program coordination, education, or youth development.
• Experience working with schools or community organizations preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across sites.
• Comfortable with data tracking and reporting.
• Level II background screening required.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Establish Trust: Build and maintain relationships with students, families, and partners; serve as the primary communication point; track attendance, participation, and engagement; coordinate event communication; maintain a safe, structured environment; support onboarding into WAL Institute.
