Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation principles and safety regulations (sanitation, storage).
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to recipes and guidelines.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Measure, weigh, chop, trim, and prep ingredients.
• Safely use knives and kitchen tools; operate ovens, stoves, and mixers.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam and apply diverse cooking methods.
• Plate, garnish, and portion foods per standards; maintain safety and sanitation.
