Michaels in Texas seeks a Part-time Retail Party & Event Host to plan and coordinate in-store events, including children's parties, within the store environment. You will deliver friendly customer service and help guests shop while ensuring a fun, safe, and engaging experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating multiple events, instructing participants, and handling administrative tasks. This role emphasizes creativity, teamwork, and maintaining store standards during events.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at Michaels stores (including kids' parties)
• Engage with clients of all ages and facilitate activities
• Demonstrate and lead party activities and crafts
• Facilitate add-ons like goody bags and balloons
• Communicate events to clients and store team
• Handle administrative tasks (emails, calls, paperwork)
• Adjust plans based on client feedback and needs; create backup plans
• Ensure client satisfaction and store cleanliness during events
• Set up/break down events and support store operations
• Cross-train in framing sales and production as needed
• Maintain store cleanliness as part of event duties
