Job summary

Michaels Stores in North Conway, NH is seeking an energetic Event Coordinator to plan and execute kids' birthday parties and craft events inside the store. You will guide guests, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience while upholding Brand Promises.

You’ll coordinate events, engage with guests of all ages, lead activities, manage materials, and support store operations from setup to cleanup.

Qualifications

• Energetic and enthusiastic personality with a customer-focused mindset.
• Excellent people skills and strong communication abilities.
• Experience working with children and planning children’s events.
• Retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events including kids' birthday parties and classes.
• Engage clients of all ages, create a fun, creative environment.
• Demonstrate and instruct participants, lead activities, and manage add-ons.
• Communicate events to clients and store team; handle emails and calls.
• Support store operations: truck unload, stocking, planograms, and cleanup.
• Uphold safety, cleanliness, and SOPs; ensure a positive guest experience.
