Creative Development Assistant, Apple Original Films

Culver City, California, United States Marketing

Apple TV Original Films is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative and operational support to two Creative Executives responsible for the development of original content and projects. This role requires a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly collaborative environment.

Description

The ideal candidate will bring outstanding judgment, discretion, and attention to detail, along with the ability to anticipate executive needs, manage competing priorities, and remain composed in a constantly evolving environment. This individual will serve as a trusted partner to the executives and an effective liaison across internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to two Creative Executives, serving as a trusted and highly effective partner in managing their day-to-day priorities.
  • Manage complex and dynamic executive calendars, including scheduling meetings, resolving conflicts, coordinating across multiple time zones, and proactively identifying potential scheduling issues.
  • Coordinate meetings across a variety of formats, including in-person, video conference, and conference calls, ensuring all logistical details are anticipated and addressed.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the team’s business, organizational structure, culture, policies, processes, and priorities in order to provide informed and proactive support.
  • Serve as a key point of contact and liaison between the executives, internal Apple teams, external partners, and executive administrative teams across Apple.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Executive Assistants, senior leaders, and cross-functional partners throughout Apple.
  • Exercise exceptional discretion and judgment when managing confidential information, sensitive business matters, and executive communications.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes, improve team efficiency, and enhance the overall effectiveness of executive and team support.
  • Support the planning and execution of team meetings, offsites, events, and other special projects, including logistics, scheduling, materials, and follow-up.
  • Provide broad team support and proactively manage operational needs, including office supplies, equipment, facilities coordination, and other administrative requirements.
  • Process approvals through eApproval and accurately prepare, submit, and reconcile executive expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Support employee onboarding by coordinating logistics, documentation, equipment, workspace, introductions, and other onboarding requirements.
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc initiatives, managing timelines and deliverables while balancing ongoing executive responsibilities.
  • Utilize Apple productivity applications, including iCal, Keynote, Numbers, and Pages, as well as Microsoft Excel and other relevant business tools.
  • Help foster a positive, collaborative, inclusive, and engaging team environment by contributing creative ideas for team activities, events, and morale‑building initiatives.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve team processes, share best practices, and elevate the overall administrative support experience.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting senior executives, preferably within the entertainment, media, technology, or related industries.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and acute attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Proven ability to manage complex calendars for multiple executives, including scheduling across multiple time zones, resolving conflicts, and proactively anticipating scheduling needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and exercise sound judgment when making decisions under pressure.
  • Highly proactive and resourceful, with the ability to anticipate needs, identify potential challenges, and develop solutions before issues arise.
  • Demonstrated discretion and integrity when handling highly sensitive, confidential, and business-critical information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the executive presence and professionalism required to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to navigate complex situations and personalities with diplomacy, tact, and professionalism.
  • Confident working independently and making thoughtful decisions when appropriate, while recognizing when to escape matters and clearly articulate the rationale behind recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly absorb and retain new information, learn new systems and processes, and continuously identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships across teams and organizational levels.
  • Determined, adaptable, and solutions‑oriented, with the ability to remain calm, flexible, and effective when priorities shift or unexpected challenges arise.
  • A genuine interest in creative development, entertainment, and the evolving media landscape is highly desirable.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $35.31 and $53.20/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
