Double Bull Taphouse is seeking an experienced Cook to join our restaurant team in Peabody, MA. You will prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring quality and presentation in line with our recipes and standards.

This role requires knowledge of cooking techniques, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility for evenings and weekends. We offer a schedule, benefits after six months, dining discounts, daily family meals, a 401k match, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Cook preferred.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Willingness to learn new recipes, techniques, and stations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50lbs.
• A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure that all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented in an appealing manner.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and equipment.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized, following sanitation guidelines.
• Work with the kitchen team to ensure that all food is prepared on time and to the required quality standards.
• Collaborate with the management team to ensure that the kitchen is operating efficiently.
