Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cook to join our team and help bring recipes to life while using fresh ingredients and a creative approach. You will be part of a safety‑driven environment with production guidelines and varied cooking styles to explore.

You will prepare, cook, and present meals according to standardized recipes, maintain workstation cleanliness, and ensure proper food handling and sanitation. The role requires adaptability and teamwork in a fast‑paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
• Safely use a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use various cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to guidelines.
• Properly store food by following food safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintain friendly customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and colleagues.
• Adhere to Aramark safety policies including sanitation.
