Aramark is seeking a Cook to join our team where you will bring recipes to life using fresh ingredients and a range of cooking methods. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, measure ingredients, and operate ovens and mixers while following safety guidelines to ensure high-quality dishes for guests.

You’ll contribute to a positive guest experience, maintain clean work areas, and adapt to different menus under production guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation and safety regulations.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
• Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operates ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers and other equipment.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams and uses different cooking methods.
• Arranges, garnishes and portions food according to guidelines.
• Stores food properly following safety policies and procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas and equipment.
