Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation principles and cooking methods.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of foods according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Sets up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
• Safely uses utensils including knives; operates ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers and more.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams and uses multiple cooking methods.
• Garnishes, portions and stores food per safety policies.
• Maintains clean and sanitized work areas and equipment.
• Provides friendly customer service to guests and coworkers.
