Aramark is seeking a friendly Cook to join our team. You will prepare and plate a variety of dishes, follow recipes, and use fresh ingredients to deliver tasty meals.

In this on-site role in Pembroke, NC you will work with production guidelines and safety procedures, maintain cleanliness, and provide good service to guests while expanding your culinary skills. Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but enthusiasm for learning and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety.
• Ability to obtain a food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication, written and verbal.

Responsabilités

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to guidelines and recipes.
• Sets up workstation with needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
• Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operates ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams using multiple methods.
• Arranges, garnishes, and portions food per guidelines.
• Stores food per safety policies and procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintains courteous service to guests and customers.
• Follows Aramark safety policies and protects assets.
