Job summary

Aramark is seeking a cook who loves food and enjoys creativity in the kitchen. You will work with fresh ingredients, follow production guidelines, and experiment with cuisines and techniques while upholding safety standards.

You will prepare a variety of dishes, manage workstation setup, and operate kitchen equipment. Strong basics in food handling and math are important, as is teamwork and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or related role is required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods and food safety principles.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, and chopping.
• Safely use utensils and operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bake, roast and cook with various methods; arrange and portion foods.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and positive service attitude.
