Responsibilities include cooking various foods per recipes, setting up the workstation, measuring and preparing ingredients, using knives and equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and providing friendly guest service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Knowledge of basic principles of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling items.
• Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses various cooking methods on meats and vegetables.
• Maintains food safety and sanitation standards.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas and equipment.
• Provides friendly customer service and maintains a positive demeanor.
