Aramark is seeking a Cook to join our team, bringing recipes to life with fresh ingredients and equipment while exploring different cuisines and keeping safety guidelines in place.

Responsibilities include cooking to production guidelines, setting up workstations, measuring ingredients, using utensils and equipment, proper storage, sanitation, and delivering excellent guest service as part of a teamwork-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation principles and safety regulations.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Sets up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
• Safely uses utensils including knives.
• Operates ovens, stoves, and other equipment.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses various methods on meats and vegetables.
• Garnishes and portions food according to guidelines.
• Stores food following safety policies and procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas and equipment.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and coworkers.
• Follows Aramark safety policies and protects company assets.
