Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cook to bring recipes to life with creativity while following production guidelines and safety procedures. You will work with fresh ingredients and a variety of cooking methods to deliver quality meals and excellent service in a team environment.

Responsibilities include mise en place, measuring and preparing ingredients, operating ovens and equipment, and maintaining food safety through proper storage and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic principles of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as accurate handling, sanitation, and storage.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling items.
• Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
