Aramark is hiring a Cook for Badger Pass Ski Area, Yosemite National Park, CA. You’ll prepare diverse recipes, adhere to production guidelines, and thrive in a fast-paced culinary environment.

You’ll work with fresh ingredients and trusted equipment while following safety procedures to deliver high-quality meals to guests. The role emphasizes teamwork, food safety, and maintaining health standards, with opportunities for skill development and growth in a dynamic park setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or related role is required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations including sanitation and storage.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
• Safely use utensils including knives and operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use various cooking methods on meats and vegetables.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food per guidelines.
• Store food properly following safety policies.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and coworkers.
• Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures.
