Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking a Bakery Decorator to create and decorate cakes, tarts, pastries, and special-order items.

You will use artistic talents to finish all specialty bakery goods, ensuring every detail meets our quality standards and delighting customers with delicious treats. You will follow our procedures, support Bakery Decorator Apprentices and team members, and maintain a clean, sanitary work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–12 months retail or restaurant experience.
• Complete the Bakery Decorator Apprentice training program, or equivalent.
• Prior experience within a professional bakery or grocery retail, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fill, and finish/decorate cakes, tarts, select pastry, and special-order bakery items.
• Build, ice, and decorate cakes and other bakery items following standard procedures; complete production and spoilage records.
• Prioritize production lists and adjust as needed.
