Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. seeks a Bakery Decorator to create and decorate cakes, pastries, and special-order items with artistic flair. You will maintain quality and presentation while delivering outstanding service to customers.

The role supports bakery operations, follows safety standards, and collaborates with Apprentices and team members to meet daily demand and maintain clean, organized workspaces.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months retail or restaurant experience.
• Bakery Decorator Apprentice training or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in bakery or grocery retail preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fill, and finish/decorate cakes, tarts, pastries, and special-order items.
• Build, ice, and decorate cakes following standard procedures and maintain production records.
• Prioritize production lists and adjust as needed.
• Merchandise products in the display case and monitor freshness.
• Provide guidance to Apprentices and team members.
• Create special order cake designs per customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with phones and pages.
