Job summary

Meijer is seeking a cake decorator to prepare and decorate cakes for various occasions and to maintain the cake case throughout the shift.

The role involves managing cake dates, processing orders, maintaining inventory, and ensuring sanitation standards while delivering friendly customer service. There may be opportunities to work in deli and bakery areas, with other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and decorate cakes for multiple occasions.
• Fill and condition the cake case during the shift.
• Manage cake out-dates daily and receive/process orders.
• Oversee cake and icing inventory and supplies.
• Operate cake decorating station with proper sanitation.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members and leadership.
• Stock displays according to quality/merchandising standards.
• Potential to work in deli and bakery areas.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
