Job summary

Meijer is seeking a cake decorator to prepare and decorate cakes for multiple occasions, manage cake orders, and maintain the cake case during shifts. You will ensure products are fresh, attractive, and properly displayed while delivering friendly service in a team-driven environment.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, creativity, and strong communication as you work closely with customers and colleagues across the bakery and deli areas.

Responsibilities

• Managing cake out-dates daily.
• Receiving and processing cake orders.
• Managing cake and icing inventory.
• Managing cake decorating station to include preparing icing's and following all sanitation procedures.
• Maintaining a positive, friendly working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
• Stocking and maintenance of product and product displays according to quality and merchandising standards.
• Potential for working in our deli and bakery areas.
