Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Cake Decorator for our bakery to prepare and decorate cakes for various occasions. You will also fill and condition the cake case and handle cake orders with attention to detail.

You will maintain the decorating station, ensure cleanliness and follow sanitation procedures while delivering courteous service to customers. The role offers weekly pay, scheduling flexibility, education assistance, and growth opportunities within a family-focused retailer.

Qualifications

Experience in bakery or cake decorating preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation is a plus.

Responsibilities

Managing cake out-dates daily.
Receiving and processing cake orders.
Managing cake and icing inventory.
Managing cake decorating station including preparing icing and sanitation procedures.
Maintaining a positive, friendly relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
Stocking and maintaining product displays according to quality and merchandising standards.
Potential to work in deli and bakery areas.
May perform other duties as assigned.
