Responsibilities include decorating, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting apprentices. Flexible schedule and strong teamwork are essential to succeed in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–12 months retail or restaurant experience.
• Bakery Decorator Apprentice training program, or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a professional bakery or grocery retail preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fill, and finish/decorate cakes, tarts, select pastry, and special-order bakery items.
• Build, ice, and decorate cakes and other bakery items following standard procedures.
• Prioritize production lists and adjust as needed.
• Merchandise and showcase products in the display case, monitor freshness and rotation.
• Provide guidance for Bakery Decorator Apprentices and team members.
• Create special order cake designs based on customer preferences.
